FSPG is run entirely by volunteers.

We are dependent on a small and dedicated team of helpers and we welcome new members to this group. Volunteers can be any age from children upwards and there are a wide variety of ways to contribute, from half an hour now and again, to a regular commitment.

Organising events

Organising events with a group of local residents is fun! It’s a great way to meet people from the neighbourhood and you get the pleasure of seeing people enjoying something you’ve participated in.

Distributing newsletters

If you don’t have much time but would like to help, how about delivering the newsletter to your road four times a year?  Kids like helping with this one as well!

Helping at an event

Are you good at putting up gazebos, pouring teas, marshalling crowds, clearing up rubbish, selling light sticks, making cakes, serving food, running games, selling raffle tickets? If you are, and have a couple of hours to spare, please let us know.

Working with the executive committee

Our work encompasses a whole range of activities including: updating and maintaining the website, social media pages, membership lists and email accounts; writing newsletters; organising the printing and delivery of newsletters; working with the council officers and councillors, liaising with The Charity Commission and other agencies. The list goes on but if you think you would like to work with the committee, please let us know.

If you would like to get involved in any of the above click here to go the Volunteering Form.
